    Don't skip a meal.

We all know we should eat healthy, complete meals, but sometimes life just gets in the way. The Hammer Nutrition Bar isn't a four-course meal, but it is a healthy alternative to a bag of chips.

Hammer Bars are loaded with healthy, non-GMO, energy-producing organic ingredients such as almond butter, date paste, agave nectar, quinoa, and sesame seeds. They have no preservatives, trans fats, additives, soy, peanuts, refined sugars, or dairy. Each bar provides roughly 200 calories, with enough fat and protein to make them an optimal meal replacement.

The Hammer Nutrition Hammer Bars are available in boxes of 12. They come in Oatmeal Apple, Coconut Cashew Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Chip, and Almond Raisin.

    Not bad, interesting texture.

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I tried a sample of the Coconut Cashew Chocolate Chip flavor and it was alright. Pretty good flavor. The texture was interesting and kind of threw me off, and it wasn't the easiest to eat, it was pretty chewy and generally left my mouth a little dry, definitely best eaten with water. Overall it was decent, but I'm not sure if I would go out of my way to purchase one of these, but I would probably eat one if it was given to me.

    Interesting... Very interesting

Not too bad of a flavor but I can't say I will every crave it. I like that it has protein and fiber in it but for me I am going to stick with my favorites; Probar.

I'm all about that superfruit but all the flavors there are good.

Pretty great bar - and tasty, too!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've been a loyal Hammer supporter for years - and these bars are a great addition to my pantry.

I love the Apple one - and haven't tried the others yet. It's moist and dense, so it fills you up... but not so much that you feel like a bloated oaf.

These go with me to my races and hikes, and haven't let me down yet!
