Tired of scooping your grub out of the pot with a teeny teaspoon but don't want to lug along a big one? Solve your serving problems with the GSI Outdoors Telescoping Spoon. This unique backcountry spoon slides down to half of its size, making it the ideal spoon to shove in your pack. Stir your soup and keep the Telescoping Spoon in the pot as its tough, high-temperature nylon can take the heat.

Bottom Line: Take big bites with the GSI Outdoors Telescoping Spoon.

Small and Sturdy

By:

Perfect size when collapsed. Even with the collapsible feature, this utensil is quite rigid. The handle extends long enough so you don't have to worry about burning your hand on boiling water or other hot liquids. Clean up was a breeze even with foods such as egg, which tends to stick to everything.

Great mutli-use

By:

The side of this spoon has measurements in ounces, and the spoon holds 1/2 cup, so it works great to measure water for hot chocolate or dehydrated meals. The plastic does get soft when it's warm, but it does not melt. Great compact storage and easy clean-up.

Good starter spoon

This spoon save space by collapsing together. The handle doesn't slide out that smoothly, but does lock into place and only needs patience. The measurements are nice too.
