GSI Outdoors made the pot, bowls, mugs, and sip lids in the Pinnacle Hiker with Teflon radiance technology and BPA-free plastics, so you won’t have to worry about eating bits of your pot and drinking harmful chemicals while you enjoy Mother Nature. The three-layer coating on the anodized aluminum pot boosts durability and holds up to wear, and a built-in strainer in the pot lid eliminates noodle-straining accidents. The Infinity bows and insulated mugs decrease weight 25% over polycarbonate resins and the plastic won’t absorb food odor.

Will four of the GSI mugs fit in it?

Will four of the GSI mugs fit in it?

Yeah they will. Each is designed to take up a quarter of the pot.

I took this setup into the Grand Canyon and it was awesome. Such a light weight setup. If you like to hike and like to have hot meals, this is a must. Works great with any pocket stove. Thanks for good deal.

    Solid Set

This is a solid set. It has everything you need to cook simple meals in the outdoors. I have used this pot with the MSR PocketRocket stove and it works but is a little unstable and I have knocked the pot off of the stove while cooking. The weight is fine but it packs a little bulky for backpacking due to the size of the pot. I like it and use it a bunch!

I agree that this is a very nice set. For just 6 more ounces (and $20), though, you can get the Pinnacle Backpacker set. It adds a fry pan, which tops this off as a fantastic backcountry set. The best part is that the size hardly goes up at all because the pan sets on over the lid very nicely.
