Designed to cook for up to four hungry hikers, the GSI Pinnacle 3L Pot and Frypan distributes heat more evenly than GSI's other cookware, packing ultimate efficiency into a highly durable, compact cook set. Three layers of Teflon coating resist multiple scratching and abrasions so you can treat your cookware like Chuck Norris and still rely on its safety even when you haven't upgraded your mom's hand-me-down metal utensils. Strain your pasta and cover your fry-ups using the virtually unbreakable Lexan strainer lid. The GSI Pinnacle 3L Pot and Frypan fit snugly in the included stuffsack, which doubles as a washbasin for dirty hands and dishes, or as a fiesta-size salsa bowl.

Bottom Line: GSI cookware does double duty in our kitchens at home and out in Mother Nature.

Shadow,
A quick visit to the GSI website didn't find any pinnacle pots under 1.5L, so I opened up a chat session on your behalf. They promised me an email tomorrow morning when there are guys in the warehouse again. I mean, its gotta be a typo in the drop down menu. 1L is more like a giant mug than a pot! Update you when I hear back.
*follow-up* Someone in the warehouse did confirm that the drop down menu is mislabeled, the pot is 3 liters.

Nope. It fits over the lid of the 2L pot when storing in the stuff sack.

Is that plastic knob on the top? I often cook putting coals on the top of my pot. I don't know what lexan is, is it a plastic that is going to melt?

Lexan is a very durable plastic but yes it will melt if you put coals on it. I've deformed the edges of this lid (still functions fine) by cooking over flames.
