Pinot Noir? Cabernet? Zinfandel? With the GSI Wine Glass, there’s no more chugging wine straight from the bottle while you’re in camp or on a hut trip. This lightweight glass is made from BPA-free co-polyester, and the stem and base detach and stow in the cup for easy packing.

Not exactly "roughing it" when you start bringing wine, but if your on a picnic, sporting event, traveling, or stroll along the beach these "glasses" are great + add no taste. They are durable enough to stand up to the abuse in a pack, light enough you won't notice you brought them along, + compact (unscrew the stem, snaps into cup in seconds) into themselves so size is less of an issue than you may have imagined.
The only downfalls that I have found thus far are they scratch fairly easily + sometimes they dont stay together when in the "stow" position. Neither of these are huge issues considering they dont effect the functionality when actually in use.
