12 oz size is perfect for freezer bag cooking (aka Travel Light Eat Heavy). Light weight and lexan strong.
Yes and no. Yes it can be used, and it will work just fine, it is the same material Nalgenes were made out of until recently. The no part comes from the risk of BPA leaching in something like this. Lexan is generally safe, and so far research only shows that the BPA is leached in significant amounts when it is heated. So it can be, it just may not be the best idea to do so.

this triples as a measuring cup, bowl or mug for hot drinks in the backcountry. props for triple duty!!
it also cleans easy and you can't break it very easily.

Keeps liquids hot. Made of bombproof Lexan so it is very strong. Way too heavy. Much lighter cups on the market will do as good or better job.

I use the GSI outdoor lexan cup for measuring while I am cooking at home and out in the woods. Cleans in a stream or in a dishwasher. What more can I say it's pretty straight up cuptastic.

These cups will last forever. Great for your coffee or hot chocolate. 12 oz size is perfect. Lightweight too. I can't think of anything negative about this cup.

I don't know what that guy is talking about; it is very light. For the money you cannot beat the deal. I guess, you could spend $30 dollars on a titanium cup but do you really want to do that???
