GSI's Cutting Board is a handy extra for camping and tailgating. It's made of 1/4in thick polyethylene that's easy to pack and shows no signs of wear. Get one for picnicking, bartending on the beach or camping. They make it easer to prepare food and keep everything clean.
Bottom Line: A lot of convenience for a little money.

Excellent out of car cutting board. Good back packing board.
The small one fits well in my MSR Pot Mesh bag.
And when you are cutting up some ingredients for your stew you will be glad you have a nice cutting board rather than a metal pot/questionable pick nick table.
Also, easy to clean.

Nice to have with you if you are doing a lot of food prep. Saved me for cutting up Ramp, potatoes, and carrots to put into a stew. that meal would've have a lot more dirt in it if it werent for this board.

I mainly purchased the small size version of this cutting board to fillet fresh caught trout but since realized it has many other uses. Most recently I used it as a work surface to dissemble & reassemble my lantern @ camp. Handy for preparing veggies, writing surface, etc. Durable & lightweight material.
