After a long day of hiking, whip yourself up a satisfying meal using the GSI Bugaboo Cookset. If you accidentally burn your backcountry feast, this stackable cookset's non-stick coating ensures you won't spend the rest of your night scrubbing dishes. GSI starts with restaurant grade aluminum pots and pans, then outfits them with outdoor specific features like double rolled rims for extra strength and a pot holder that clamps onto an outside bracket, so you don't end up scratching the interior coating. Chop veggies on the two included cutting boards, and nest these boards in with the pots when it's time to pack up camp. In the morning, fry up some pancakes—the Bugaboo cookset's lid doubles as a fry pan.

Bottom Line: Whether you're creating a gourmet meal or just cooking noodles, count on the GSI Bugaboo Cookset.

Great for keeping the pack light.

This cookset has performed great every time I've taken it out on the trails. I bought the small to save the extra weight, and I don't think I'd need anything else. They are very durable, and clean very easily. The non-stick surface is great. I can even fit my stove and a lexan bowl inside the stack. They aren't too big, however, so if you're cooking for more than one at a time, you might want to upsize. I would definitely recommend this product.

Good Cookset

By:

I bought the small set, which is very lightweight, compact for camping trips, I even store my stove, the handle for the pots, and a fuel canister inside, however they wear down fast and become permanently stained quite easily when used over a fire as opposed to a stove

Great Stuff

I purchased the small set for backpacking and it works great for me. Doesn't take up a lot of room and tends to all your cooking needs. Enough room inside to store the handle, pocket stove, and a canister of fuel if thats how you want to do it. Some people say it's heavy but I don't think so. Great to cook with and easy to clean up. I'm a fan.

This is a beautiful set. It is lightweight and very compact, yet the pans are big enough to cook for 4-6 people. I am very happy with this purchase!

Good cook set, a bit heavy

By:

Great cook set for car camping. I also take the small pot backpacking when cooking for two, but find the large one too cumbersome. If you're counting ounces, look elsewhere. If you are car camping or don't mind the extra weight, its a great non-stick set.

Do you really get four pots and two lids when you buy the large

Do you really get four pots and two lids when you buy the large set? For just $10 more than the small set?

You get two pots and two lids that double as fry pans. I think it's the same configuration as the small set, except they are larger in size.

Nicer than home...

When I pulled these out on a recent camping trip, my buddy said, "Wow! Your camping pots are nicer than what I have at home." That's probably true. These are high quality, have a durable non-stick surface, and cook evenly. They're a great car camping set.

Great set

Got these for car camping, and they do not disappoint. Might be a little heavy for backpacking, but taking a single component for backpacking wouldn't be bad at all. A nice cookset at a good price, these are nicer pots than the ones I use at home.

Very nice

I love these pots. I got the small set and they're very lightweight. Only reason I didn't give it five stars is because they're a little bigger than I thought they were. Nonetheless, very cool removable handle and easy to clean.

Great Buy

By:

I liked the pots for camping and they worked very well and were easy to clean up. I wish the advertisement would have shown the difference in sizes for small, med, and large though. I probably would have ordered the larger set. I wish it came with another handle but I would give them a 4 1/2.
