TENT REVIEW ON GROUND AJANTA 2 or 3 person

By:

Well the first thing that in noticed was that the quality of the tent far past my expectations. The tent went up quick with no brain power needed even your girlfriend could do it but at least help with the staking because you don’t want it blowing away. I would probably purchase HD stakes for windy conditions but if you are keeping your pack light they are good enough. It is well vented and you will defiantly need it when your buddy’s tent starts leaking and everyone piles into your tent to stay dry. The Ajanta has top quality stitching all around to keep them in tacked and weather tight. The only other tent like this on the market is the NORTH FACE MINIBUS 23. These tents are almost identical... I don’t know who ripped the other one off or if the rights were sold to one another from an outside tent manufacture.

overall great tent!

first the cons since there arent many
1) all mesh tent makes the tent a little breezy in high winds and also i am somewhat reluctant to use in sub 0 temps (Celsius), but if the fly is tied down properly like it should be this issue is easily taken care of, recommend upgrading to steel spikes instead of pegs if you can afford the weight.

pros

1)light-ish
2)easiest tent ive ever set up, similar to the design of the hubba hubba 1 main pole and two very small expandable poles, mine came with featherlights but i think they come with aluminum here
3)lots of room even for tall folk, im 6'2" and have more than enough room
4)waterproof and drys quickly, mine actually dried wrapped up in the trunk of my car on the way home from tofino after a nice rainy night
5) vertical walls keep everything warm and dry, large vestibules on either side , two doors

very happy with this tent, probably the best at what its made for, like i said i would compare it to the msr hubba hubba , a little more weight but a lot more room and less than half the price

two thumbs up!!
