6wt 9' really nice rod.

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I broke a popular high end rod this summer on a fish on the South Platte. This lead to a quest for a nice rod that didn't break the bank. This one kept rising to the top of the list. Finally got to try one and was impressed by the finish, light weight and smooth action. It is closer to a fast action than medium action like they advertise. Once you get the feel of the rod, it is impressive. Bottom line it catches fish.
