I wish I'd purchased this a while ago!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I used to keep my nippers on a lanyard, which I'd pull out of my pack and hold in my teeth as I changed my fly. This retractor makes it so much easier; my nippers are always in easy reach and the cord never gets in the way. With the dual-retractor I keep a small pocket knife on clip #2; I use it less frequently than I do my nippers, but it's nice to have it there. It pins easily to my pack or to my wader pocket when I'm fishing light.

Stop losing your stuff!

Ive always just clipped my forceps to a shirt, backpack, lanyard etc and it worked MOST of the time. That being said, ive lost at least a pair of forceps a season. nippers.. dont even get me started. I cant ever keep track of them. Just buy this... it'll save your gear and thus, save you money.

This little guy does exactly what you would expect it to - keep things handy and where you need them. Pretty solid build and nice quality. 4/5 stars as it's not quite sturdy enough for some of the heavier items you may want to use it with, but clippers or goo work just fine.
