Targhee 32L Backpack

Equipped with Gregory's Fusion Flex suspension for lightweight efficiency and uphill-specific support, the Gregory Targhee 32 Backpack excels on technical ski tours and splitboard missions in search of untracked powder. The 7075-T6 aluminum stay transfers heavy loads when you're skinning uphill, covered by a thermo-formed back panel for soft-wearing comfort. Snow-shedding materials prevent it from soaking up excess moisture during inclement winter conditions.

This supportive pack strikes an optimal balance between ample storage and uphill efficiency, carrying everything you need for demanding tours without weighing you down with unnecessary bulk or unneeded features. Keeping you on top of rapidly changing snow conditions and emergency rescue scenarios, the dedicated snow safety pocket houses your probe and collapsible shovel. The hydration-compatible design (reservoir not included) keeps you drinking on-the-move, with an insulated sleeve that prevents your water from freezing in frigid temps.

Stowable ski and snowboard carry straps allow you to bootpack beyond the resort's boundaries and scale summits too steep to skin up. Stowable ice axe straps come in handy for riding through firm spring cycles and technical ski mountaineering missions. Glove-friendly hardware allows you to open and close the pack's compartments without removing your gloves and freezing your fingers off. There's also a stowable mesh helmet holder for staying cool on the way up the mountain.

My B/C bag for the Whites of NH

Great bag, lots of great features. I've used this many times on Mt. Washington and surrounding areas of NH. I know I could go smaller, but I tend to overpack a bit in a "prepare for the worst" mindset and I love the back access panel. The google pouch is a bit small but it fits mine snuggly. The emergency access section is easy to get and well organized. I stays snug on my back and bears weight extremely effectively.

Lava Red - Hot pack!

Good pack! I went with this because of the sternum strap design which is strong and secure. Accepts a bladder for hydration. Looking forward to many miles and years with this Targhee 32

Top choice for tall skiers/riders...or anyone.

Comfortable, bright, holds everything I need. I'm 6'6" and love the long torso on the M/L size, really fits better than any other pack I've tried. I can actually wear the straps where they're meant to be worn and the pack sits right where it needs to on my back. A little bigger than I need for the side/slackcountry that I do, but I bought it to head to Japan and I anticipate it being perfect. Plus it doubles nicely as a carry-on! Also love the back panel access and insulated hydration sleeve in the shoulder strap. They've thought of everything.

Great pack. This fits my 160cm splitboard in A-frame carry. Pack is really thoughtful with features (large goggle pocket, hip pouch, easy to access pockets).

Great Bag

I’ve bought two of these bags. The first I just loved to death (and over stuffed) but it’s still going strong. This years model was a great upgrade, and Gregory lit thorough thought into all the upgrades. It’s a great bag for day touring, and has all the features you want.

My favorite pack I've worn. I've also used the BD Dawn Patrol and Osprey Kamber. I love the front loading layout for all my gear and it's so easy to organize. I didn't realize this when I bought it but the bottom of the inside of the main front-loading compartment has material across so the items in the bottom will remain inside and the pack will stay organized. Ski's super well too. Doesn't affect my riding at all. Has everything I need liter wise and pocket wise, as well as the ability to carry an ice-axe. The side pocket on the hip belt is also a great size. Big enough to carry iphone 11, but I use it for my garmin inreach mini, swix scraper, and sunscreen. I am 5'8. 150 lbs. Mountain Athlete build. I always wear a small pack, but the medium is super adjustable and fits perfectly. Only thing is, if you need to carry a rope for a bigger mission, you'll have to get creative about how you do that. Other Gregory packs have that covered. Plus you may want to size up to 45 for big missions with a lot of technical gear.

Pretty great!

First, its an amazing pack with room for avy gear and anything needed for a good day out. I personally own the 45L version but my buddy has the 32L. WIith the 45L, its easy to fit gogles and hats in the top and still has room for some rope or some fairly large item. Only problem is that it would be nicer if the body of the bag was made with tougher material, like 400D , but since its mainly a winter pack, it is totally fine as long as you don't impale it on an ice sickle.

Great every day ski touring pack. Has enough room for big objectives and even short hut trips.
