More options than a menu at a Chinese restaurant.

Gregory had the half- and full-day backcountry powder hound in mind when it made the Targhee 26 Backpack. This stable, secure pack gives you a bevy of carrying options for whatever mode of transport you choose, from skis to snowboards to snowshoes--you can even carry ice axes and a helmet. The Targhee 26 won't slow you down on an epic day, because this load-bearer also gives you quick access to avy gear with its dedicated organization pocket, and to other necessities with the barn door rear panel.

  • Vertflex Suspension's framesheet helps to vertically stabilize pack while maintaining balance, securing load, and allowing for torsional flexibility
  • Main compartment accessed by barn door rear panel entry so you don't have to remove skis to get to gear
  • Dedicated avalanche safety gear organization pocket fits shovel, probe and accessories and is positioned to cut down on critical access time
  • A-frame ski carry system will hold skis with up to 130mm tails and features hypalon reinforcement and offset design that keeps skis away from you calves and head
  • Diagonal ski carry, hypalon-reinforced snowboard/snowshoe carry, and dual ice axe loops also available
  • Pull-out helmet harness securely stows your brain bucket on the ascent
  • Hydration system includes sleeve in back panel and insulated feed through shoulder harness that prevents water from freezing in tube
  • Slide-lock on side compression and diagonal ski carry, in addition to snow plow buckles, won't jam, freeze-up or clog with ice and snow
  • Slim profile harness for ease of movement
  • Top internal zip pocket secures keys and valuables
  • Partial padding on waist-belt for comfort and mobility

Hi! I'm a petite 5'5" 118lbs female. I don't have a very long torso - I'd say I would be in the xs-sm range for Gregory packs - since this is a one size fits all, will it accommodate someone my size? Thank you!

Howdy Jenna!
I'm a bit shorter than you at 5'3" and about the same weight, and if it were me, I would go for a women's specific pack, or a pack with size options. I've struggled with too many unisex packs that are generally ill-fitting, it's just not worth it.

Have a friend help you measure your torso length and check out packs that offer a range of sizes or a women's specific pack, your back will thank you!
