The versatile Gregory Keeler Backpack fills the gap between too-small weekend packs and too-big multi-day packs. With a 4800cu in volume in a size medium, the Keeler can handle everything from four-day weekends to bare-bones weeklong backcountry adventures. It'll carry up to 40lb of gear comfortably thanks to Gregory's Auto-Cant shoulder harness, which adjusts automatically to your specific next and shoulder shape and angles. The Flo-Form II backpanel places soft, cushy foam next to your back, and a denser foam behind that to provide fitting form and support. You can easily get to all your gear through bottom, top, and side access points. Multiple exterior pockets and gear loops help you organize your load, while water-resistant fabrics and zippers keep your gear dry.

After going through several packs the Keeler (large) fit the bill. I needed a pack to carry the extra gear/food for when I go out with my boys on a 3-4 day or a weeklong with adults or solo. I have comfortably carried 60lb at times, and it holds up fine. It has enough storage areas to avoid the abyss hunt of some packs. The only complaint I have is the extremely annoying squeak that the suspension has when under load. I fixed that by putting a "slicker" surface between the back panel and the harness/belt points.(duct tape).Exchanging the Wilderness harness for Flow Foam II may do the trick as well.

This is the first serious backpack I’ve ever purchased. So far it's doing well. It’s well designed and comfortable.

This pack is perfect. I just got it and it has been awesome. It is perfect for trips up to about 6 days. It also isn’t to big for those weekend trips. Very durable. I have been on 8 trips with this pack in the Appalachian Mountains and there is no wear or tear at all. Great buy.
