Gregory's J 38 Women's Backpack fills that awkwardly sized hole between daypacks and overnighters, with enough space to function as a one-night summer back or a wintertime daypack. With a ventilated CrossFlo suspension and ventilated hip belt and shoulder straps, it's designed to keep you cool on summer treks, but has enough volume to easily handle the extra gear required for cold-weather hikes or ski-touring adventures. There are pockets in the removable lid, the waist belt, and the interior, with another large bucket pocket on the front of the pack, which compresses down for a streamlined fit when it's not in use. Compression straps on the sides of the pack cinch down your load, and hideaway ice axe/trekking pole carriers let you go hands-free when you need to. The full-length front zipper and top U-zipper provide easy access to the main compartment, and the integrated rain cover keeps your gear dry, but tucks away unobtrusively when the sun's shining.
