The Granite Gear Quick Quiver is the backpack of choice for backcountry skiers who're trying to squeeze every second of snow time out of their short winter days. It's the only pack in the world that allows you to attach and detach your skis without taking your pack off. Slide the tails into the loop on the bottom left then pull the skis across your back and secure the top to your right shoulder with the cord and mini carabiner. You can go from laying down turns to hiking up slopes in seconds. The inside of the low-profile Quick Quiver is divided into two compartments: one for your necessary avalanche gear and another that holds food, skins, extra layers, and water. Head out with the Quick Quiver and get an extra run out of each day.

Bottom Line: Leave your pack on your back and get more time with your skis in the snow.

Talk shop with all the gear freaks out there: ask 'em questions, upload/browse photos, and give your 2¢.

not a solid ski connection

I bought this pack for my husband and it was a total flop. The top bungee is way too loose. His skiis are 190's and fell to the side so they hung near perpindicular, we tried double wrapping the bungee and it still was way too loose and floppy, looks to be impossible to travel through trees. There are great pockets for shovel, lunch, probe and other stuff, but we are returning this pack for a more secure system

Good pack, quick access. Funky pockets.

Used the pack all last season. Loved the ability to quickly sling the skis on the back without removing the pack. The elastic shock cord does stretch out and leads to a sloppy connection if used alot. I tied a few knots in it to take up slack to improve the situation. The inside pockets are well organized to control/organize gear but ends up stashing wet gear with dry gear b/c of the mesh lining for the pockets. After long tours it becomes a bit of a sloppy mess. The size is great for a few backcountry yo yo's but another 200ci would have been helpful for longer tours. Bomber material, the pack will be with me for a while....
