I have a torso length of 19" so I would need the regular torso length. That said the regular volume is 46L . How is that measured? i.e. Does the 46L include the roll top closure full expanded and if not what is the added capacity of the roll top expanded with the ability to still close securely?
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
So far I've only put one weekend trip on this pack, but it was fantastic. What sold me was the nice combination of size and low weight with enough functionality (pockets, lash-points, traditional compression straps). It takes a bit of care to pack correctly and achieve a proper weight distribution and shape, but it's an intuitive process and once I had it down, the VC suspension was plenty substantial to carry ~30lbs comfortably on a very challenging weekender.
The materials are top notch and are confidence inspiring and I think I'll love the adaptability of this pack for all kinds and lengths of trips. So far: Great buy @ 15% off, highly recommended.
