The Granite Gear Air Bag Stuff Sack keeps your small items and extra layers from disappearing in your pack and adds less than an ounce of weight to your back. Its Sil-Nylon material is super lightweight and highly water-resistant. Plus, you can see through it to the contents so you don't have to guess which Air Bag you put your long underwear into. Load up a few Air Bags and toss them in your backpack where they keep your load well organized. *Assorted colors.

Bottom Line: The Granite Gear Air Bags are lightweight enough for ounce-counters to use and practical enough for any backpacker to want.

So light, yet so strong

Recycle all your all stuff sacks and step lightly into the future of on-the-back containment. These bags are paper light, but don't let that scare you they are Cordura strong. After hiking the last 10 miles of my trip, I unpacked to find a nice big rock in the sack. Thanks Matt, you're a friend. Anyway Matt's new rock didn't hurt the bag as much as it hurt my back. These things are tough.

I would recommend the size #3 Air Bag. This fits my Marmot Precip Jacket well.

Light, durable, almost completely waterproof!

So, I've been using these things for a few months. During the summer, I had a guiding job in CO. One of the nights on the trail we camped out on of the wettest rains I've ever seen. It was huge! NOT EVEN a Black Diamond Bibler tent kept us completely dry, and you all know how good those are. Anyway, all this goes to say, the only thing that kept my books and emergency radio dry was a couple of these little air sacks. I highly recommend them to anyone who takes adventures.

Light as a Paper Bag, But Super Strong

By:

I bought a #1 and a #3. I put all of my cooking gear in the #3 and all of my survival stuff (first aid, headlamp, compass, etc) in the #1. These stuff sacks are perfect for use with a toploader backpack as they allow you to organize your stuff while sacrificing almost no weight gain. I will likely order one more of the largest ones to replace the heavy stuff sack I currently use for my clothes.
