Nice pants

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times
  • Fit:True to size
  • Height: 6'1"
    Weight: 188 lbs
    Size Purchased: Large

I'm an avid outdoor enthusiast but as I got older (58yo) I put on too much weight. While losing 40 lbs from 228 to currently 188 to get back in shape, non of my clothes fit and I had to buy smaller sizes. As I kept losing weight, even smaller sizes soon became too big, too. I opted to try these with the cinch waist so they would adjust to my continually shrinking waistline. Perfect! They're A LOT more comfortable than jeans but just as rugged for the same price. I wear them casually, around town and for backpacking in the hills of Tennessee.

nice climbing pants

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times
  • Fit:True to size

Great climbing pants, baggy and comfortable. They fit just right with the elastic band on the waist. Perfect mobility range when climbing, I've used them for small hikes too. Great pants at a good price!

Unanswered Question

Hi, There

I have a sizing inquiry.

Could you please give me the waist measurement of size M & L?

I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Best Regards.

These are THE ONE

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

Stop your searching, these are the best climbing pants you're going to find.

They're relatively inexpensive, and incredibly comfortable and durable. The elastic waistband and lack of fly reminds me a little too much of sweatpants, but I try to keep function in mind when I climb, and these fit the bill perfectly.

Perfect amount of room to really get a full range of motion when you climb, and they still have a pretty casual look to them if you need to run into town for supplies.

It's cotton, so don't expect the most breathable pair of pants to wear in the summer, but I love wearing these in the fall/spring where a thicker pair of pants are more welcome. I can wear long underwear under these too, and still move around easily.

Nylon belt is more or less useless as the elastic is enough to keep it around my waist. I do clip my chalkbag to it though, as part of the belt is visible on the back.

Recently got the Tokyo G pants since they had a zippered fly, but found that these are much more comfortable to climb in.

On the heavy side a little but nice hiking pants. Real durable abrasion resistant and breathes decent. Only thing not a fan of is the legs are a tad bit too wide for my liking hence the free style fit. other wise the adjustable waist band is really comfy and price is awesome on them.
