These are THE ONE

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

Stop your searching, these are the best climbing pants you're going to find.
They're relatively inexpensive, and incredibly comfortable and durable. The elastic waistband and lack of fly reminds me a little too much of sweatpants, but I try to keep function in mind when I climb, and these fit the bill perfectly.

Perfect amount of room to really get a full range of motion when you climb, and they still have a pretty casual look to them if you need to run into town for supplies.

It's cotton, so don't expect the most breathable pair of pants to wear in the summer, but I love wearing these in the fall/spring where a thicker pair of pants are more welcome. I can wear long underwear under these too, and still move around easily.

Nylon belt is more or less useless as the elastic is enough to keep it around my waist. I do clip my chalkbag to it though, as part of the belt is visible on the back.

Recently got the Tokyo G pants since they had a zippered fly, but found that these are much more comfortable to climb in.

Quality

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs large

On the heavy side a little but nice hiking pants. Real durable abrasion resistant and breathes decent. Only thing not a fan of is the legs are a tad bit too wide for my liking other wise the adjustable waist band is really comfy.
