All the warmth you want when arm warmers aren't enough.
You may love the feel of your favorite summer jersey and arm warmers, but as the mercury drops, you need thermal protect against the elements. The Gore Bike Wear Xenon 2.0 uses the best of Gore's thermal fabric in combination with moisture-wicking stretch panels to create a jersey that stands up to hours of riding in cold weather.
The jersey is cut in a race fit that sits comfortably next to your skin. Panels of Gore's thermo-regulating material are used on the chest and arms of the jersey, blocking cold air from finding its way in. When you find yourself sweating hard on climbs through mountain passes that resemble a snowy queen stage of the Vuelta a Colombia, the coiled weave of the fabric moves moisture away from your skin to the outside of the jersey for evaporation, so you stay warm and dry. The white panels on the sides and back of the jersey provide ventilation and stretch to accommodate your movements on the bike.
Gore knows a comfortable jersey is more than fabric construction and fit— it's also the details. Flat-lock seams are used throughout the jersey to eliminate irritation where common seams often protrude and rub. Raglan sleeves not only bring the sleeve to the jersey with a more refined look, they allow for better range of motion throughout the upper body. A 3/4-length zipper may seem odd for a higher-end jersey, but a full-length zipper often isn't necessary for winter riding, when throwing your jersey open for ventilation is rare. For easy opening when you do need to let off some heat, the cam-lock zipper allows for easy, one-handed jersey opening. Three spacious rear pockets hold your spare tube, CO2, and ride nutrition. Reflective elements in a signature Xenon pattern keep you visible to motorists in low-light conditions.
The Gore Bike Wear Xenon 2.0 Thermo Jersey comes in Apple Green/white, Red/white, and Black/white. It is available in five sizes, Small through XX-Large.
