Description

Go the distance.

Some cyclists find satisfaction after an hour or two on the saddle. Those are not the riders Gore Bike Wear had in mind when designing its Xenon line. What they focused on is the small percentage of us that easily push past the four hour barrier and want more. To assist, Gore has given the Xenon 2.0 SO Bib Tights cutting-edge materials, an aerodynamic shape, complete with a low weight to offer ultimate long-distance comfort.

The tights are expertly constructed from panel shapes that allow unrestricted movement with an incredibly snug, areo-fit for aggressive riding positions. To complement that, the Xenon 2.0 SO Tights gets Gore's fast drying, highly breathable Xenon chamois--a multi-density pad that offers support throughout the longest of rides.

At the sit bones, high-density foam offers consistent support -- even after the you've surpassed the century mark. The pad changes density seamlessly as it melts into the tights themselves. The resulting 3D shape reduces hot spots, avoids pressure points, and encourage circulation for long term comfort and reduced fatigue.

The tights' primary material is Gore's Windstopper soft shell fabric. A three-layer laminate that allows perspiration to escape while blocking chilly air. It does this without hindering breathability so you stay equally dry and comfortable whether you're working up a sweat or machin' down a descent. The shell is also stretchy for excellent freedom of movement and unrestricted pedaling.

Because this is a long distance tight, Gore went the extra length to add durability. At the crotch, they've protected the seams with abrasion-resistant tape, and moved the seams for less chafing. At the front, a short, semi-lock zip allows quick bathroom breaks.

The Xexon 2.0 SO Bib Tights also feature pre-articulated legs for comfort in an aggressive riding position. Foot straps ensure the legs do not migrate, and they do so without cutting off circulation, like an elastic gripper can after many miles. The legs also get reflective pipping, along with reflective logos, to add low-light safety if you find yourself starting at dawn or returning at dusk.

The Gore Bike Wear Xenon 2.0 SO Bib Tights come in Small through XX-Large, and two colors; Black, and Black/White.

Wanted a really warm winter tight. This one is not super thick and is not terribly stretchy. As a consequence it was difficult to pull on over large cyclist thighs. I would say this tight is more for rain/wind protection and someone of a mid-to-skinny build.
