Embrace the sun.
Unless you're a dedicated early riser or a religious sunset cyclist, you'll end up fighting the heat on rides that take you under the midday sun. As it gets hot, though, the Gore Bike Wear Xenon 2.0 Women's Jersey keeps the temp turned down, with a plethora of mesh panels and a heat-reflecting treatment that make it Gore's top-shelf offering.
The heat-reflecting treatment we just mentioned? It's called Coldblack, and it actually reflects up to 80% of the sun's rays, even when applied to dark fabrics. This works in conjunction with mesh vents on the arms, underarms, and backs, helping you stay cooler than a pickled cucumber when the asphalt gets steamy. There's also a full-length front zipper that allows for near-unlimited ventilation.
The details matter, too, though, and the Xenon 2.0 is packed full of them. All the seams are joined using ultrasonic welding, rather than stitching, which reduces bulk, streamlines fit, and eliminates points of potential irritation. The three back pockets are accented by a separate zippered pocket to secure a phone, cash, or credit card, and Gore finished the jersey off with 360-degree reflective accents to help you stay visible if your noontime ride lasts all the way into the twilight.

Best Fit Jersey
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
Finally, a jersey that is made for women with breasts. I usually have to go up a size or two to fit the chest area, and then the rest of the jersey is too big. I purchased the black/white version and it looks just like the photo. The venting in the back is fantastic. Perfect for our 100 mile ride in 90 degree weather. The material in the front of this jersey is much thicker than that back, making for a smooth front. If you have boobs, this is the jersey for you. :)
- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
- Fit: Runs large
looser fit than expected. I own a few other Gore apparel in a medium which aren't as loose fitting (am 5'4" 117 lbs). the material is too thin for my taste, and the yellow is not as bright and neon as I had expected from the picture. it is more of a mustard yellow.
Gore Bike Wear Xenon 2.0
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: True to size
This is my all-time favorite bike jersey. It's made to fit a female figure, is slimming and the material is ultra thin but durable and breathable. The pocket storage includes a zipped pouch for valuables too. I bought TWO. One for me and one for my cycling sister. She loves it too. Arlene
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Just got the jersey on Friday and tried it out on a short trip Saturday. Sunny day, low 70s, low humidity.
Fit - snug but not tight. Doesn't over-compress your body, but still fits smoothly.
Stretches well, good length both front and back. It has some sort of sticky stuff on the hem that keeps it in place. Nice that there is a zipper on one of the back pockets to keep stuff from bouncing out.
When I first put it on, I thought the fabric felt a bit weird and wouldn't breathe well. Not true. It breathes well and keeps me comfortable. It washed beautifully. Looks brand new.
I want to get more of these for sure! Definitely my favorite jersey.
The best short-sleeved bike jersey I have owned, including others from Gore, Assos, Louis Garneau etc. So comfortable you hardly know you are wearing it. Lightweight, breathes well. Functional rear pockets. Well made. Highly functional, but good looking too.
