Description

No need to turn around before noon anymore.

Riding in the heat of summer requires a jersey that works with you while you ride. As your temperature rises during an afternoon criterium or an all-day road race, ventilation is key to staying comfortable and pushing through to clinch the victory. The Gore Bike Wear Women's Xenon 2.0 short-sleeve- jersey puts ventilation where it is needed, using a high-functioning material mix for spring and summer riding.

The Xenon 2.0 sits at the top of the Gore Bike Wear women's road line. This jersey is made with Schoeller's signature Coldblack fabric that reflects sunlight to effectively manage heat buildup while also protecting you from harmful UV rays The Xenon line uses ultrasonic seam technology to eliminate the use of thread for binding the fabric, effectively welding the jersey together. The tight, flat seams mean no friction against your skin where traditional seams would rub.

An ergonomically shaped collar stays comfortable against your neck when the jersey is fully zipped. Strategically placed polyester-elastane mesh on the top of the arm, underarm, and back help you stay cool by allowing air to move through it, evaporating perspiration. The full-length zipper also makes cooling off easier on hot days. An underflap runs the length of the zipper to keep it from catching in your undergarments and irritating your skin as you ride. Zip ports on the top and bottom protect your neck and favorite shorts from being abraded by the zipper.

Three back pockets provide ample storage for nutrition and spare tubes. They're slightly tapered on the sides for easy access, so reaching around your back for a bar no longer feels like a game of chicken against yourself. A single zip pocket on the back keeps keys, credit card, and ID safe and secure.

Decorative reflective print on the sides of the jersey adds safety and flair. A reflective logo and piping on back also keep you visible during predawn and dusk rides, and gives you 360 degrees of reflectivity.

The Gore Bike Wear Xenon 2.0 short-sleeve- jersey comes in Black/white, White/Black, Pool Blue/White, Fuchsia/white, and Citrus Green/White. It is available in X-Small to XX-Large.

  • Three back pockets house plenty of room for all your essentials, and an additional zippered security pocket stashes a phone or media player

So comfortable!

  • Gender: Female
  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Just got the jersey on Friday and tried it out on a short trip Saturday. Sunny day, low 70s, low humidity.
Fit - snug but not tight. Doesn't over-compress your body, but still fits smoothly.
Stretches well, good length both front and back. It has some sort of sticky stuff on the hem that keeps it in place. Nice that there is a zipper on one of the back pockets to keep stuff from bouncing out.

When I first put it on, I thought the fabric felt a bit weird and wouldn't breathe well. Not true. It breathes well and keeps me comfortable. It washed beautifully. Looks brand new.

I want to get more of these for sure! Definitely my favorite jersey.

the best!

The best short-sleeved bike jersey I have owned, including others from Gore, Assos, Louis Garneau etc. So comfortable you hardly know you are wearing it. Lightweight, breathes well. Functional rear pockets. Well made. Highly functional, but good looking too.

Have you tried Gore's ALP-2.0 Jersey yet? Of course it's more mountain inspired if fit, but it, too, is very comfortable and has excellent ventilation...so breezy. The only fault I found is the back, which is totally mesh, already snagged from my hydration pack; but if you don't carry a pack, this top is worth a try especially if you catch it on sale.
I'm going to give this jersey and shorts a try, too, this summer.
Happy Trails!

Recently acquired the Sleeveless version of this jersey...love it; will try to get this one, too. You are right about the Xenon...the shorts rock, too!
