The down-side of rolling this jacket up...crumples easily. You can shake out some of the wrinkles; after hanging up for awhile, most disappear. Just a very light weight jacket...serves it's purpose.
'Packed' inside Xenon jersey pocket
Rolled up and packed inside back pocket of the Xenon singlet jersey. Probably could be rolled tighter; I use a hydration pack and keep either this jacket, or the ALP-X 2.0 GT in its outside pocket (except for winter, I wear the Giordana F.R.C. jacket, and top off with the ALP-X if it's particularly nasty out).
Showing the rather flimsy rear zip pocket; also showing the mesh 'lining' that helps keep you dryer, and makes garment easier to slip on/off.
*Suggest not putting keys, or anything else with a sharp or jagged edge in that rear zip pocket, as those types of items will likely snag/tear the mesh!
Great visibility hits; plus, the white helps you stand out in dimmer lighting situations as well .
Nice, but could be better in fit. Plenty long in the back, but would have liked the front to have been just a bit longer, as the jersey (of the same size) tends to hang below jacket hem (as you can see here), even 'on-board'. May be a bit too loose for some who like a very streamlined feel; it's a shell , and not stretchy. Still, it will be able to accommodate a long-sleeved jersey and base layer for spring/fall riding.
Good finish for the Xenon jersey & shorts.
Final Note (from Windstopper tag)
Note that all the Windstopper products are only water resistant, not water proof; the ALP-X GT (jackets/pants) are water proof shells).

Why settle for knock-offs. If you don't see this label, forget about it!

It is what it is: a super light-weight windbreaker, not a rain jacket, nor a warm jacket (though obviously it will help keep the chill off as advertised above. I will use this on days I absolutely know it won't rain (for those days when the weather looks a bit 'ify' the Gore ALP-X GT 2.0 will be packed/worn.
My only concern is the back "security" pocket: it is only mesh, almost like a hair net; how durable can that be for keys/money or whatever over a period of time! I use a hydration pack for all those things, but for those who don't, this may be a problem down the road???
Sleeves are plenty long, as is the back of the jacket.
I could have gone down a size if either my hips were a bit smaller, or the jacket a bit more generous at the bottom hem line...prefer the former to the later, of course! Very lean ladies won't have any problems. But for those who are a bit curvy, watch what size you order, maybe ordering up. This would of course leave room for needed layering for the in-between temps/seasons.
Extremely light weight, packable (only thing is that this jacket being so very thin, it crinkles when rolled up for packing); windproof WindStopper*.
Got this in White, as well as the awesome Xenon jersey and Xenon shorts...all in the white/black...very sharp, and 'cool-looking' for hot summer days/cool'ish evenings.
Gore also offers lady's Xenon socks; form fit left/right foot; lightly padded under ball of foot; low cuff that stays in place. Breathable and comfortable.
