WindStopper for your legs.
If you stop and gaze with patience, you can see winter blow in. With winds pulling off the Arctic Tundra, winter travels thousands of miles just to reach you on your ride and make you cold. Winter's menacing almost seems deliberate, but personal vendetta aside, we can tell you that it's hard to climb when you can't feel your legs. Gore Bike Wear understands the plight of the year-round rider, and that's why they made the Power SO Tights + Insert. With an anatomic silhouette and a patented fabric design, the Power SO Tights are the only line of defense your legs need to ride year 'round.
The Gore Bike Wear Power SO Tights + Insert are made from Gore's patented WindStopper Soft Shell fabric. Like its name suggests, WindStopper is windproof, but it's also water-resistant and highly breathable. The stretchy material is accountable for the precise, anatomic fit of the tights, but Gore also incorporated articulated, pre-shaped knees and gripper elastic at the bottom hem. For extra comfort in the saddle, the Power SO Tights feature the Power Lady chamois insert. This chamois uses a seamless, anatomical construction, and provides a quick-drying ventilation for long, comfortable hours in the saddle. For easy-access storage, the tights have a concealed rear zippered pocket.
The Gore Bike Wear Power SO Tights + Insert are available in sizes X-Small through XX-Large, and in the colors Black and Black/hot pink.

For the "Elements"of Surprise: Winter..
- Gender: Female
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
Actually, they could be lined (like the thermal "Pearl's") for winter cycling, but N.B.D. Will say that the chamois in these is not quite as comfortable as in the Pearls', but, better than nothing at all (ouch!)! Good fit, good looking (for bike tights); like the added reflective touches. Recomended.
