For its construction, Gore selected a proprietary blend of spandex and nylon. Why? Because of its ability to wick moisture away from the skin and provide a controlled stretch. By pulling sweat away from the skin and taking advantage of the fibers’ increased surface area, this jersey uses evaporative cooling in order to maintain a low core temperature. This idea of thermoregulation is furthered by the fabric’s ability to both breathe effectively and allow an ample level of airflow. Extending this idea even further, Gore has also incorporated mesh panels along the underarms and scapula of the jersey.

Flat lock seams are employed throughout in order to reduce chafing, while a full-length, semi-lock front zipper provides an extra ventilation option when you need to dump heat in a hurry. For storage of your ride essentials, Gore has included three rear pockets. And to increase their accessibility from the saddle, the outside pockets Gore has given them a slanted design. An elongated rear hem works in conjunction with an elastic gripper to secure the fit of the jersey when the pockets are fully loaded. Additionally, the secure grip prevents any fabric bunching at the stomach while you’re in the cycling position.
