Shorts long rides.

Rely on the GORE Bike Wear Power 2.0 Short to keep you comfy through medium- to long-distance rides. The short's Power chamois provides an ergonomic fit along with stretch, ventilation, and breathability to get you through an extra-long training ride without pain, at least not where it counts. Super-stretchy fabric provides excellent moisture management and muscle support. Gripper elastic on the hem holds this GORE short in place, and the multi-panel design fits your on-bike posture.

I don't have a ton of different shorts but I have some by Pearl Izumi and Castelli and I like this pair by Gore better than either of those. The fabric really is more breathable which helps a lot since I ride in the Texas heat. I'd definitely recommend these to anyone who rides in warm weather. They are also just more comfortable to me in general and have a better chamois. Can't attest to their long-term durability yet since I've only been using mine for a few weeks but so far I am very satisfied.

I purchased these recently - per suggestion went one size up - I am 195 6'3" - 36 inch waist - purchased the XL - the pants fit fine in the waist and seat but the leg openings were too big - pants would have ridden up immediately. Fabric was great - guess I need work on my quads.

That is exactly the information I needed since I'm 6'3" and 180 lbs.
