If you're not into Lycra tight, nor do you want knee-length baggy mountain bike shorts, the GORE Bike Wear Women's Passion II Shorts will become your amor. These feminine-cut shorts feature a loose (but not saggy) fit and have removable Lycra inner shorts with a built-in chamois. Even though these shorts fit loosely, GORE Bike Wear made them with breathable, smooth fabric that reduces friction and shifted the seams for less chafing. Mesh inserts on the inner shorts provide ventilation for when your body needs to get rid of some heat. A front zipper and comfy elastic waistband rounds out the Passion IIs.

I really like these shorts - lots of pockets, comfortable waistband that doesn't bind and the padded liner is easily removed for separate washings. One issue I have w/ the shorts - the liner seems to run a bit big while the outer short a big small which means that the outer short tends to creep up my legs when I riding - not a big deal but it means it doesn't warrant 5 stars! I ordered a Small which is my typical size.
