Everything about the GORE Bike Wear Ozon Bib Short counters chafing—the cut fits your on-bike posture (rather than your standing posture), flatlock seams don’t rub you raw at the fabric joint, abrasion-resistant material at inside leg and saddle area protect your under regions, and eight-panel construction means the fabric moves with your every motion, but doesn’t push and pull material from all over the shorts when you move. A mesh insert in the back releases steamy air and helps you to stay dry, and reflective features on the back legs and front hem let evening motorists know you’re on the road.

Bottom Line: Don’t let your bibs rub you the wrong way.

Great

This bib fits well with the multiple pannels and provides the tighter fit that i was looking for. I used to sizing chart for the fit and it fits great. The chamois is large enough to protect the whole area while avoiding the diaper look. Overall i have been very happy, especially with the great price that i got from a backcountry sale.

Only For Shorter Men?

At 6'1", 180#, I'm generally a large in bibs. P.I., Craft, Hincapie, you name it. In the Gore's, I'm probably an XL and maybe even an XXL. Not because of the waist, but because of the length of the shoulder straps. When I put them on, my wife looked at me and said "..oh, that CANNOT be comfortable!" Let's just say they rode very high and tight. Even bent over like I would be on the bike, they were cutting off blood flow to the nether regions. Width wise, they were a bit tight, but that would be great to keep up muscle compression on long rides. My recommendation is to look elsewhere, or at least buy a size larger than normal until they add some length to the bib straps.

Size up with Euro brands!

I could not agree more with Robinsgn2356553.

Remember to size up with Euro brands! As always size up with Castelli, Giordana, & Gore Bike Wear. All are euro inspired & require a good size up from your normal "US size" (Hincapie,PI, and Craft all have "US inspired" sizes)
