Oxygen 2.0 shorts use a blend of polyamide and polyester to move moisture away from your skin to the surface of the fabric, where it’s evaporated. The main body fabric also incorporates elastane, a stretchy material that keeps the fit tight without bunching, binding, or limiting motion. Seams have been placed strategically away from areas where you’re likely to chafe. All these things add up to greater comfort, which becomes more important the farther you ride.

Of course ne decent cycling short is complete without a chamois. Gore uses its Oxygen insert for this short. Mainly constructed of polyester, the Oxygen chamois is a moisture-management specialist. The rest of the material in the chamois is elastane, whose job is to keep the fit right and eliminate bunching or binding.
