Mountain features with urban style.
If rides often begin with a last minute 'where are my gloves/shoes/helmet gear-panic,' then keep the Gore Bike Wear Countdown GT Jacket in your hydration pack. Its low weight and ultimate versatility will offer refuge when rides take longer than expected or the weather pulls the ol' switcheroo.
If the opposite's true, and you're of the calculated nature, you'll appreciate the Countdown's intelligent design and proven Gore-Tex fabrics. The multi-layer Gore-Tex laminate blocks wind, snow, and rain while allowing perspiration and excess heat to escape. This is perfect for those freak, late-season hail/rain storms and other poor weather conditions you can experience on the trail.
Weather-resistant Gore-Tex Stretch panels work in conjunction with the Countdown's cycling-specific cut. These purposely shaped panels prevent interference with pack straps to reduce pressure points and, along with articulated arms and a drop-tail hem, they ensure your core is completely covered -- including aggressive over-the-bar climbing or hanging-off-the-saddle descents.
For added protection, the Countdown GT Jacket packs a hidden, low-profile hood to keep your noggin happy and neurons firing. Fine-tuning temperature and coverage is made as simple as possible with an extra-long pull on the full-length front zipper and draw-cord hem. For secure storage, the front napoleon pocket and large rear pocket are zipped.
Reflective logos and piping add 360 degrees of low-light safety for the crawl home, and the Countdown GT is reversible -- perfect for a quick transformation from dirt bag to patron if you're easily sidetracked by the warm glow of neon signs. The Gore Bike Wear Countdown GT Jacket Comes in Red/Black, Graphite Grey/Black, Black/Neon Yellow, and Petrol Blue/Black with sizes ranging from Small to XX-Large.

Cheap Quality, Absolutely not Slim Fit
This jacket is absolutely not a slim fit. I have another Gore Jacket which is comfort fit same size. It is a lot slimmer than this jacket. This is more than acceptable relax fit for biking or running.
The outer shell material feels very cheap. You can feel the same cheap quality on any $20 sports jacket.
I am not sure whether the shell material will be able to hold the water for the gore-tex to be able to breathe.
Disappointed on Gore's quality control. I have another jacket which is very good quality and another pants which is good too.
I am 5-6 130lb. I ordered size S.
