Awesome way to control your gopro without asking your buddy to see if its on! haha If you have the hero 3 this will work out of the box if you have the hero 2 you need the wifi pac. I have the hero 2 and it does drain the battery which is the downside and why i gave it 4 stars. Waterproof and durable for your wrist while skiing or doing whatever you do with the gopro!

My husband loves it, first day out snowmobiling with it today! Only downside was he needed to buy the backpack as his Hero2 wasn't the wifi one, but its awesome, easy to use with gloves on while playing out in the snow!!

I have the original Gopro Hero HD. Is the Wifi Bacpac attachment for sale on backcountry.com? I do not think this remote will work on my gopro camera without that attachment.

If I'm not mistaken you will need the wifi kit with the wifi BacPac to enable wireless on the original HD Hero
