Description

Because sometimes the snow is more than chest deep.

Show your East Coast friends what real pow is when you attach your GoPro camera to your helmet with the GoPro Vented Helmet Strap. This nylon strap threads through your helmet’s vents and tightens with slide-locks, so you can attach your GoPro HD Helmet HERO while riding the first tram on a forty-inch day. This strap is compatible with all quick-release GoPro cameras, except the Digital Hero 5 Wrist Camera.

Use one of the adhesive mounts or screw one on. way to much movment your going to get bouncy video using this at any real speed.

Mounted easily to my bike helmet, plenty secure. The mount is fine, but the resulting video isn't my favorite for biking. No reference point and feels like you are too high. And it is pretty heavy standing a few inches off the top of your head. I'll use it but not as much as some of the other mounts , especially the Chesty for biking.

Go this strap and used the same day, it very simple to set up and i did not have any problems with it moving around or sliding.

I've used this on my climbing helmet leg while snowboarding (I have really skinny legs), and my wrist. It's not an accessory I use a lot just because I have other mounts that are slightly better, but it is a useful accessory to have. You could even put it on the middle Kite strut if you wanted.

I love using this GoPro strap on my Mtn bike, Snowmobile and Moto helmets. Since I don't GoPro too often with these helmets, I did not want to have a permanent sticky mount. Tightening the straps are a little tricky, but I have found that the wider the straps are wrapped around the helmet visor he more secure the camera will be. I usually use some duct tape around the base of the mount too to prevent any wobbling.

I find that this is hard to tighten down on your vents well enough to keep your camera completely still. It works well and is more secure than probably a sticky tab that could rip off..but it isn't completely vibration proof. It is good for testing out the camera in new places though.
