A built-in touch display allows you to immediately playback videos after the moment, and a video trimming function lets you create and save short video clips on the camera. When something really sweet gets recorded, a HiLight Tag makes marking the moment easy, so you can quickly find it when you're putting together an edit. The 8MP camera is not only equipped with a wide-angle glass lens to capture the sheer size of your surroundings, but it also features a time lapse and burst mode. When you do see something awesome or are witness to an epic fail, The QuikCapture button turns on the camera and takes a picture with a single push of a button, so you'll never miss a shot again. And when the sun starts to go down, an auto low light function makes the camera automatically adjust to the changing light, so your images and videos always turn out great.

The camera is built into a rugged and waterproof case, making it equally adept at both water- and land-based activities. One of the most notable features on the Hero+ LCD is its ability to easily share your images and video clips with your social media account through a built-in WiFi and Bluetooth function. This allows you to connect the camera to the GoPro app, which in turn lets you control the camera from your smartphone or tablet. A Smart Remote (sold separate) can also be paired with the device, so you won't be wondering if the camera is on when it's mounted to your helmet. Apart from the seemingly endless amount of accessories and mounts you can attach to the Hero+ LCD, it comes with a skeleton touch backdoor, curved adhesive mount, flat adhesive mount, mounting buckle, and a micro USB cable.
