Description

Make sure your camera's not swimming with the fishes.

After a wipeout in which you lose your grip on your GoPro Hero, you'd much rather find it bobbing on top of the water than have it sink beneath the waves to Davy Jones' locker. Make it so by attaching the GoPro Floaty Backdoor to your camera's waterproof housing; simply peel and stick this foam block to the backdoor, and you're at least assured of a fighting chance of retrieving your camera.

  • Includes spare waterhousing backdoor
  • Not recommended for suction mounts

Not much more to say, besides it floats. Definitely necessary because your gopro does not float and this is cheap enough to buy rather than making something to solve the floating problem,

Always be sure to use the Floaty Backdoor when you take your GoPro out on the water. In case you didn't know or have learned the hard way. GoPro's don't float!

GoPro's don't float so don't take them near a lake or a river without this floaty back door! I use it when I'm kiteboarding, Rafting, and Kayaking!

I was a little skeptical at first as to if it would really float it as well as they say, so I turned on the jets full blast in my hot tub and threw it in. It stayed on top. It would get pushed down pretty hard, and popped back up every time. Works. Well worth it, definitely gonna be on my cam any time I'm on the water.

This little floaty is pretty simple but I have a lot more trust in it than duct tape and foam. After purchasing this before some jetskiing I was glad that i had it after my cam was knocked out. It also makes it easier to find the camera if you drop it in the snow with the neon orange back door.
