GoLite Wildwood Trail Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Men's - 2010 BCS

I got this with the Christmas gift certificate that BC sent me (Thank you!). I am not a huge fan of big logos or the shinier "techie" fabric look (I'm going with a one-star penalty here), so I would have preferred it to be a bit more low-key, but no biggie, as I got it in black, and this will probably end up being a gym shirt for me. It is a very nice, comfortable, lightweight polyester shirt. So lightweight that it's the closest thing to going shirtless I can imagine. It wicks moisture well and feels good against the skin. Good thing, too, since the "slim" fit on this shirt should really read "superhero" fit, cuz that's what I feel like wearing it. I am 5' 11.5", 174 lbs., with an athletic build, and this thing, in size large, fits me through the chest, shoulders, and arms like it's spray-painted on, so order your size accordingly...

Extremely disappointed with the durability of this shirt after having such high hopes. The stitching around the neck starting coming apart after the second time I had washed it. Also, a small hole was starting to form along the stitching along the neck. And, I washed this shirt on a gentle cycle and layed flat to dry instead of even drying on low heat. I hope this is not representative of Golite's quality, I have returned this item for a refund.

I've always been the runner without the shirt on. 60 degrees and above, I'm it. I must have a heat sink on my back (I can't wear the water backpacks above 55 either).

I'm turning 50 this year and am realizing it might be best if I start keeping my shirt on .... This shirt almost allows me to do this. It is by far the best hot weather shirt I have found. I have yellow and have just ordered white (why they make them in dark colours is beyond me).

For hot weather running (I run ultra-marathons) - nothing (that I have so far found) beats these shirts.

I was looking for an extremely bright running top when I stumbled across this shirt in the SUN color. What a surprise when I finally got to try it on. Not only is it bright but it fits like a second skin. This is the closest thing to being shirtless I’ve ever experienced. The shirt weights almost nothing! As an extreme endurance athlete and former World Record Holder I’ve learned that light-weight goes a long way, especially when it breathes as well as this top does. I’ve had experience with GO-LITE products in the past and they continually deliver 100% satisfaction 100% of the time. Thank you GO-LITE and backcountry!
