GoLite Kellerwald Travel Pant - Men's - 2010 BCS

I love wearing this pant to and through the airport...it's comfortable and can handle temperature changes, in the plane and on the ground, quite well. I've used it to and from on two separate cross country trips...very satisfied with the fit and features.

The pants are great- comfortable, well-made with a very good fit. My only regret is that it's not available in other colors. It comes with a 32" inseam which may be too short for some buyers.

I have had these pants for a month now. Wore them on a three day winter hike with temperatures in the teens and twenties with windchill of single digits. I wore these pants with out a base layer and only knee high wool socks these pants performed fabulous i have worn them almost everyday hoping to see if they wear down quickly but so far they holding up very well. One thing I will note is it seems as if these pants run a little larger in size I ordered a 32 i wear a 32 in all other slacks and jeans but with these pants i do need to wear a belt. Other than the sizing these pants are light and can handle cold weather hiking better than what I expected

I think I've found the prefect adventure travel garment: GoLite's Kellerwald pant. I can't believe how lightweight it is, how little space it takes up in my bag, and how well it fits. I'll be packing this pant worldwide for years to come.

I've been wearing the Kellerwald all over the place for the last few months, and I'm just stoked every time I wear it. I am tall and thin, and sometimes have trouble finding pants that are long enough. The Kellerwald comes in both regular and long sizes, which suites me perfectly. The sizing options alone puts this pant way ahead of the pack. I also like its straight-leg styling. There's no retro tapering, like I've found in some other outdoor pants.

I've noticed that a lot of thought went into this pant's design, and it's a great example of form following function. Take, for example, the pocket arrangement. It's a small detail but it makes a world of difference when I'm running full tilt through an airport. I like to have my documents in my pockets and ready to go, but I also need my pockets to be secure so my passport, ID, and boarding passes don't fall out. The Kellerwald sports a passport-shaped zipper pocket on the leg - problem solved - along with a bigger, button-enclosed cargo pocket for less important items. It's also got a hidden zip pocket behind one of the front waist pockets, where I can store things like my keys. One of the rear pockets zips shuts so I won't lose my wallet easily to pickpockets.

I also love the Kellerwald's material. It's a really thin, soft blend of cotton, spandex, and recycled polyester. The end result is a wrinkle-proof, fast drying, lightweight pant that folds down to almost nothing. It's comfortable, highly breathable, and very fast drying. I can wash these in a sink and they dry on a line in a hotel room super fast so I can where them the next morning.

Finally, I have to hand it to GoLite for being a leader in environmental responsibility. I like that GoLite is being as transparent as possible about is eco creds, and is actually grading its products on how sustainable and low-impact they are; the Kellerwald falls in the middle of the GoLite product line. I appreciate knowing that and supporting a company that's honest.
