The GoLite Infinity Pack is among the most advanced ultra-lightweight frame packs anywhere. It offers great comfort and excellent load transfer, carrying your gear with minimal weight. Two bellowed external pockets boast watertight zips and stretch mesh gussets so you can access key gear easily. Room provided for two ice axes in external loops and Velcro® retention straps for stowing peeled layers quickly. Top-loading frame pack has a floating lid with zippered security pocket for frequently needed items, and two mesh side-pockets sewn at angles for ergonomically grabbing water bottles. Three-liter hydration sleeve also included. Constructed with weatherproof materials X-Pac™ and SilLite HG™, and finishing details like three small daisy chains, a sternum strap and haul loop, provide amazing functionality on this lightweight piece.

Bottom Line: It's crazy that a frame pack has this many features and is so light.

The Infinity Rocks

I'm 5'4" and 125 pounds (female)and I loved the comfort and performance of my size medium Infinity pack. This pack was used on the Appalachian Trail with a full load of about 23-26 pounds. The pack rides comfortably all around and moves with your body. The pack could be improved by adding a handy access pouch near the front of the waistbelt (which I easily sewed and slid onto the waist belt). The pack did show signs of wear at tension points and some abrasions from everyday use. Had I hiked the entire trail, I certainly would have gone through two Infinity packs. All-in-all, a great pack that I'd buy again.

Awesome

This is the best pack I own. The only thing I wish it had is a little pocket on the waist belt for small items like bug juice or sunscreen. Carries really well even though it is ultra light. I have the large and I did a 3 day solo trip with tent, bag, pad, 3 liter water bladder, pad camp chair kit, stove, cookset, extra clothes, food, water filter, book, miscellaneous like headlamp, sunscreen, etc and it all fit inside and the whole package weighed 24.5 lbs with full water! Granted I have light/small stuff but I could have carried enough food for 7 days along with what I brought and it would have been fine. Not too big, not too small, really light, good quality construction. Very nice.

GoLite Infinity Pack...Weightless Comfort

By:
September 23, 2004

GoLite's Infinity Pack is the most comfortable pack I've ever had, period. Not to mention it cut 4 pounds off my packed weight(!!). Detailing and features are superb...Enough said. Get one and smile all the way up the mountain.

Go Lite or don't go at all...

I am extremely impressed with this pack. I have tried many packs from North Face, Arc'teryx, and Lowe Alpine, and this pack flat out performs like a champ. Had more than enough room for 2 nights. I have gotten alot of use out of this pack since purchasing, and have no problems/malfunctions/damage/ or recommendations on how to improve it. I demand alot of my gear, and I won't recommend anything that I have an issue with. Trust me, this pack will not let you or your expectations down.

streamlined rocket pack ready to take on one day or a 100+ mile week

This bag worked very well for carrying minimal gear for a seven day jaunt on the T. I was running around 25-28lbs total the whole time. Every one thought I was carrying a day pack. The whole interior is water proof as I found out in a rainstorm, however any thing not in a plastic bag in the top pocket will get wet. The two pockets running down the back are awesome and the two little velcro loops on the back weigh less than carabiners and work great for carrying your camp-site footwear. Bottom line if you got lite gear, and you want a pack to complete it for some ripping fast backpacking, this one rules!
