The GoLite Hex 3 Shelter will go to the ends of the Earth on your adventures. This roomy four-season shelter can be suspended from a tree branch or slung over a kayak paddle. Without requiring the poles, floor and fly of most tents, it weighs next to nothing. Sheltering three people in a canopy-style shelter, the Hex 3 is component system. Use it with or without its pole and extender, floor and bug net. For added space, dig a snow pit under it. Due to its simplicity, you can erect it easily by yourself even in gnarly weather. Excellent air flow from two roof vents let you cook safely inside and extra guylines allow you to pitch the leeward (non-windy) side off the ground for huge venting. SilLite™ weather protection and its stable six-sided design—with extra midpoint stakes–—make it a champ in the elements. At 787g what a wonderful piece of gear. 2 of us (6'1" and 6'2" girlfriend) kept warm and happy over 2500m in the French Alps in lovely but icy spring weather. Pitched hard to the ground (to keep the wind out) it certainly will have condensation but with such a huge tent it is not a problem and you probably only need to do it when the wind is coming off the ice in a big way. Definitely pitch out all the ties (11 all up) as it is a lot of fabric to flap around.
