The jacket is UL and very compressible, it shed light precip, and was totally windproof during peakbags with winds up to 50 mph. I like the closures at the cuffs, and pull strings at the hem. I still like my Schoeller soft shell for highly aerobic approaches in the cold.

I use this jacket over a down vest in the morning when it is 40 degrees and I feel very comfortably warm. It absolutely blocks the wind. Very lightweight, so when I do take it off, it doesn't weigh down my pack.
I like Golite gear so far.

I purchased this jacket for winter running. The size information was exactly what I received and the jacket fits well. It blocks the wind very well as described and water beads up. I would recommend it for any aerobic outdoor activity.

I have been very impressed by the Echo jacket. After extensive testing, I have found it to be extremely windproof and so far waterproof; however, I have not subjected it to an extended amount of time in the rain. It also looks great. Its fit is semi-fitted. Actual weight is 8.3oz. I also own a MontBell Stretch Wind Jacket 5.2oz, which is very similar, the Echo far surpasses the MontBell in performance and comfort.
good lightweight windbreaker

I got this jacket for my boyfriend, he was looking for a really lightweight windbreaker that was decently waterproof. I ordered this jacket based on style and weight.
he was very happy with it, it seemed well made but i felt for the price it lacked a little bit of quality.
