On late spring and summer through-hikes, do you want to carry your heavy winter sleeping bag, or the light, super-compact GoLite Adrenaline 40? You certainly don't need all that insulation to keep you comfortable on balmy summer nights, and the extra weight will just drag you down. GoLite not only uses feather-light (har) 800-fill down in the Adrenaline, they also shave ounces with a wispy, yet durable, lightweight ripstop nylon in the shell.

Bottom Line: Step light and sleep tight with the GoLite Adrenaline 40 Sleeping Bag.

It's water resistant to any condensation that might accumulate inside your tent, but that's it!

Solid Bag

This bag is definitely in the 40 degree range if not a little better. I was out on a 30-32 degree night at about 6000 feet in Arizona and it performed beautifully with fairly thick pajama bottoms and a long sleeve Baselayer. Didn't get cold at all.
It's super light and packs down a little bigger than a Shaquille O'Neal sized hand. The plastic thing that makes the stuff sack tight broke the very first time I used it while preparing to go on a Backcountry trip, but no huge deal, i just tie it like a shoe now.
It has decent room inside, I'm 6'4 200 and the long fit like a glove.
As an ultralight enthusiast you won't compromise comfort in chilly conditions with this feather weight contraption of a bag.
Recommend it, especially at $199.
