Hampus Mosseson, Zach Leach and Kyle Clancy took over the Gnu Riders Choice Snowboard's technical and graphics design this year, and the results are staggering. This freestyle snowboard packs burly EISS 9 sidewalls to take hits without flinching, and the sintered 9900 base is as fast as you'll ever want. The Riders Choice Snowboard's twin-directional shape lets you charge switch on park gaps but won't hold you back when you're throwing down on fresh pow days. Best of all, this sick Gnu ride is now available with Magne-traction edges to give you amazing edge control no matter how icy the park is. *Comes in assorted base colors. We have no control over which color you'll get, but we're sure you'll love it.

Bottom Line: When you need a board to destroy any terrain feature, the choice is clear.

This Board Kicks A$$

I absolutely love this board. Today i took it out and was riding backcountry kickers all day. Absolutely amazing. This board is very forgiving but at the same time really responsive. Ive found it to be a good board on most other parts of the mountain too.

Mag 154.5: "turns ice into powder" IS NOT A LIE!!

By:

Yesterday must have been one of the iciest days I've ever seen in the NY/NJ/PA area at Mt. Creek in Vernon, NJ. I'm talking maybe an inch of the fake powder with a base of ICE that made it feel like I was on a hockey rink.
LOTS of riders slipping out and a record for Mt. Creek's head trauma (my friend got a concussion and the EMT's on hand told me this)... but while all this was happening, I did not feel unsafe once all day. A few times I felt myself started to skid but a split second later the Magnetraction bit and all was well. I felt stable all day and enjoyed the slight flex it had. I went all over the mountain... through the ice, some jibs, and a few big jumps. I'm now confident through them all with this board. I would recommend it to anyone! [especially those on the ice coast]

Gnu Riders Choice

This board is awesome! I'm fairly new to snowboarding and the Riders Choice helped me improve a lot this season and gave me the confidence to try new things on each run. It also showed me how important a good board really can be. Easy to turn. Easy on jumps. I love the Riders Choice!

GNU Riders choice with Magne Traction

By:
February 5, 2007

So I purchased the Riders Choice MT whilst sat at my desk in crappy town in the north of the UK one Friday afternoon about a month ago. I stuck some Burton Mission bindings on it and then had to wait a couple of weeks to try it out and then only in an indoor snow slope - not going to the alps for another 3 weeks!! :( . So what's it like? Well, I've only used it for a total of about 9 hours so far but I can say that those wobbly Magne Traction edges are totally sick! I was riding with a couple of mates (who are both better than me), we all hit a patch of ice. One ended up on his knees, the other on his ass and I just carved a groove in the ice right past them!! It seems pretty good in the park too but I actually purchased it as a 'go anywhere' board and I don't think I'm going to be disappointed. Totally awesome board. I'll write a more detailed review when I've shown it some proper action in France in 3 weeks.
This site gave me a great service too. Like I said I ordered the board on Friday afternoon in the UK. It arrived first thing Monday morning. Now *that's* service.
