Gnu’s Riders Choice C2BTX Snowboard functions as a one-board quiver for versatile freestyle shredders who ride anything and everything. Misty tree runs, sunny park laps, or backcountry windlip sessions, the C2 Power Banana hybrid-rocker shape helps you stomp more tricks without sacrificing high-speed control.

  • C2 Power Banana places camber underfoot and rocker in-between for a forgiving, fun ride that still maintains edge grip and pop
  • Full-wood AG1 core offers durable, reliable pop
  • Magne-traction edges add five contact points to increase edge grip in all snow conditions
  • Sintered base keeps you cruising through the flats

Bottom Line: So choice. If you have the means, we highly recommend it.

The Riders Choice is an excellent choice for someone looking to progress to the next level because it's so versatile that it'll do whatever you want to try. This has a similar flex to the TRS but with a less radical sidecut so its a little more forgiving. Very playful with plenty of pop to make ya say uhhhh

Sizing: I'm 6' and 185 with a low profile size 11 boot. I recommend going with 157 Wide for an all mountain stick.

I'm looking at this and the TRS. The Riders Choice is listed by Mervin as slightly stiffer than the TRS and the sidecut radius is smaller, which means it's more radical and should turn faster (Even though the effective edge is larger, it's narrower than the TRS). Are you listing stats, or have you ridden both boards? I want to know which is softer and which turns quicker. Has anyone ridden both boards?

I am 54, 5’10” 205lbs. with a 10.5 boot. I currently ride a 162 Burton Mololo. Great board in powder but just adequate everywhere else. No park, jibs or jumps, mostly all mountain. I’m more aggressive in the POW but cruise pretty much the rest of the time.
Looking for a more versitle “all round” board and am leaning towards a GNU Rider's Choice C2 BTX. I am having trouble deciding between the 157.5, 161.5 or the 158 Wide. Demoed the 157.5 for three or four runs, and found it really fun and solid. Because I’m use to the 162 Mololo, it felt a little short.
Because of my 205lbs. the 158 Wide may ride longer than it is and has more area than the 157.5 and the 162.5, which would be great in the POW, but I’m concerned that edge to edge it may be sluggish. Any thoughts!
