A versatile ride for big-footed rippers.

Just because you have big feet doesn't mean you're stuck riding some big mountain plank. The Gnu Riders Choice C2-PBTX Wide Snowboard was built for big-footed riders who like to rip everything form powder to park. Although it has freestyle in its DNA, the Rider's Choice is also a natural when it comes to powder, pipe, and pillows. Basically, it'll rip whatever the hell you point it at.

It features a deeper heelside sidecut and an asym flex to make your heelside turns as powerful and natural feeling as your toeside turns. The PBTX Enhanced Banana profile features a magical blend of rocker between the bindings and elliptical camber outside the bindings for incredible float in powder, catch-free buttering on hardpack, and response and stability at high speeds. Magne-Traction edges are serrated to slice through ice likes it's fresh corduroy, so you can lay down high-speed carves and stomp tricks on icy landings while everyone else is washing out left and right.

A blend of four different types of wood gives the core the perfect balance between lightweight and strong, and they keep it feeling nice and poppy too. UHMW sidewalls ensure durability, and the sintered base is fast and retains wax well to keep you moving through flat spots with ease.

  • A.S.S. asymmetric sidecut
  • Rocker between feet with elliptical camber towards tips
  • True twin shape with centered stance
  • Magne-Traction edges
  • Polonia, Great Lakes Aspen, Colombian Gold, and Rocky Mtn Aspen wood core
  • Sintered base
  • UHMW sidewalls

If you are doing more jibs and spins I would go 158. If you want a board for all around cruising and something that will be a little more stable at speed you could bump up to the 162 size. If you have other questions or want to talk about this board shoot me an email or give me a call.

Love this board!!

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This board is awesome. Period.

I ride on the east coast, and the Magne-Traction is incredible on icy slopes.

The rocker/camber profile of the board makes it super easy to control, and the board has great pop and speed as well.

I haven't ridden it in powder yet, but I would definitely recommend this board to anyone riding in east coast conditions. Can't wait to see what it can do out west in the deep stuff!

Performs exactly as described

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Took her on a cirque run and through the park on the first day with her. Great pop off side hits and kicks, as well as good flex, but not too soft, and floats like a champ through the powder. Couldn't ask for a better board.

p.s. the Magne-Traction is fantastic. First time with it and what used to be sketchy faces is no big deal.

Totally worth it. Get one.
