Description

Convenience and performance that will get you psyched.

Once you get a taste of the lightweight feel and convenient entry system of the Gnu Men's Psych Snowboard Binding, it's hard to get psyched about anything else. It has a medium flex with a somewhat playful feel that rips inside the park and out, and the Easy Rider rear entry system gets you riding faster and ensures you have the same fit every time.

The FT-2 baseplate is made with aerospace aluminum for an ultralight feel that's still responsive enough to handle steep runs and big jumps. A forgiving flex on the FT-4 highback allows for a playful feel when you're ripping around the park, and the asymmetrical shape conforms to your calf for enhanced comfort and performance. The EVA foam footbed cushions harsh drop and absorbs vibrations for a smooth ride. The cushy Asym ankle strap provides more support on the lateral side where you need it for holding carves, and it allows more flexibility on the medial side for tweaking grabs and slides. The Thin Fit toe strap is cored out so that it conforms to the shape of your foot for a secure, yet pressure-point free fit.

As with all of Gnu's bindings, the Psych is equipped with the Easy Rider Speed Entry Binding System. The highback reclines for quick entry and exit, so you only need to adjust the straps once and then you're good to go all season. If, for some reason, you do need to make some minor adjustments, it also has a micro-adjustment buckle for on-the-fly tweaks. The auto-open lever makes entry and exit even easier by opening automatically once the highback is lowered. Finally, the binding has a pressure relief button that reduces strap tension quickly on the fly for instant comfort with no hassle.

Here's what others have to say...

How do I adjust the toe cap to have a snug fit?
I wear a k2 Ryker size 9, bought a L psych, I went all the up to adjusting the toe cap to level 2 with no luck.
The toe cap still moves around

Sat,

With a size 9 you are right smack in the middle of needing a Medium or a Large. If you've sized the Larges as small as they can go and it's still not working, I'd have to suggest a size 9.

If the footprint of the K2 Ryker boot is smaller than a traditional 9 then a Medium is definitaly your binding size.

Shoot me an email if you have any more quesitons!

These are great for the old guys

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I'm not known for my flexibility and strapping in boots was always a pain for me. These are great and get me going much faster. Much easier to use and are tight like any other straps. They're super light as well. Definitely recommend!
