Description

Making it easy.

Keep your little junior shredder happy all day with the Gnu Gnunior Kids' Snowboard Binding. It has a Fastec quick-entry system that allows them to get in and out of their bindings quickly and easily so they don't get frustrated before they even drop in, with an oversized highback lever that's easy to manage even with mittens on. The baseplate also keeps snow from accumulating underfoot so they don't get uncomfortable icy buildups throughout the day.
  • Fastec entry system features a reclining highback for quick entry and exit so he (or you) don't have to fumble with ratchet buckles
  • Youth highback has EVA foam padding for comfort
  • Snow Shedding baseplate keeps snow out of his binding
  • Heel and toe cushioning pads dampen vibration and absorb shock
  • Youth ankle and toe straps are oversized and low-profile for a secure and comfy fit

I bought these for my 8-year old son. At first, he was struggling with step-in concept of the binding and had some trouble getting into them, and was clearly showing some frustration. In fact, so much I started doubting if step-in bindings are good idea for kids at all. However, after a day or two, he fully figured them out, and now gets in without any trouble. My son says he loves them now and I guess that's all that matters.

One improvement I would like to see in future versions of this binding is to make levers a bit bigger. Especially the small one on the side of the binding, which lacks just a tiny bit of leverage when operated by small (er) kid.
