Don’t let yourself get bullied by those mountain trolls hiding in the corners of deep, dark natural half-pipes. Point your GNU Billygoat C2BTX Snowboard straight and dominate any monstrous obstacle that gets in your way. The Billygoat performs much like it’s namesake in rugged terrain. Conquer icy chutes, long traverses, and endless cliff bands with the help of all the technology GNU packed into this all-terrain tyrant.

  • C2 Power Banana Technology adds end-to-end stability, mighty pop, and pow mastery to your assets
  • Magne-Traction gives you Billygoat-like agility through the best and worst of conditions
  • Anvitex dampening dulls unnecessary chatter when you’re charging
  • Double sintered UHMW sidewalls take lots of punishment and keep your board together

Bottom Line: Go trip, trapping over any obstacle you damn well please.

I'm not sure which board to get, looking at either this board or altered genetics.
Mainly freeride, backcountry etc.. Usually at mammoth mountain.
Any advice?

Backcountry only carried one board and I got it. This board is sick. The base was dry out of the box, it had a One Ball Jay Waxxed sticker on it...one ball jay slacking or does the sintered 9900 base guzzle wax? Missing tip and tail edges, I'm guessing to reduce swing weight, but who is ripping 360's on a 162 board? Graphix are pretty wicked, magnetraction definitely a must. Never rode a regular banana, but this C2 power banana tech takes some getting used to. Hope that the serial number isn't important, because you wont find it anywhere on this board.

All of the boards made at Mervin Mfg. feature "tucked in edges". Full wrap is old tech. The tucked in edges are bent into the core of the board. With no steel at the tip and tail the board is very easily repaired if you hit something. Full wrap steel will bend and will help the board delam by letting water in. Your right about the swing weight. Lighter tips and tails.

How would this board compare to the Rossignol Experience 163

How would this board compare to the Rossignol Experience 163 (Jones)?

The main difference seems the banana tech. You can ride centered in powder and have more pop. Both seem to have the same stiff flex, width, radius and magna. The Rossi is more a directional board like the Arbor A-Frame. Both are incredible freeride boards..I will get the Jones 167...
