Almost as beautiful as fresh snow.
The C3 Banana profile features aggressive camber zones outside the bindings for powerful turns and poppy ollies, and mild rocker between your feet adds a forgiving feel and enhances float in powder. Magne-Traction edges are serrated to slice through ice likes it's fresh corduroy, so you'll be carving down boilerplate with ease while everyone else is sliding out on their asses. A directional shape with a long nose and a set-back stance makes it powerful and precise when pointing it, and also increases float to keep you on top of the deep stuff.
Gnu teamed up with Pendleton Wool Mills to create a gorgeous topsheet graphic that represents the relationship between man and nature, a theme that goes perfectly with the use of lightweight and strong aspen and Columbian Gold wood from sustainably-harvested forests for the core.
- Dominant camber zones at the tips with mild rocker between bindings
- Directional freeride shape with setback stance
- Magne-Traction edges
- Columbian Gold and aspen wood core
- Sintered base
- UHMW sidewalls
- Co Ex topsheet
- Pendleton Wool Mills graphic

I road this board twice already. I love it. it's great on ceramic, firm conditions.. once you make a turn, it locks in and doesn't slide. going from toes to heel and vice versa feels easy. i haven't ridden it on powder but i'm sure it'll be amazing. riding it in the glades and moguls isn't as fun as my old b-nice gnu but it is super steady on hard packed snow.
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Got this board yesterday, and rode it today for a few hours....what a fun hard charging board. Conditions were a wicked crazy mix of big hard wind affected bumps, pow stashes in the trees, and a little groomer action too. Of course the pow stashes were the most fun but it handled well in all conditions. I felt the magne- traction grab on the ice, and the nose float in the pow. Love, love, love how light, responsive and flexy this board is.....makes riding feel a bit more effortless, and I noticed diminished knee pain as a result. Win-win! This is my first GNU board and although I've loved my other board for the past few years, I may never go back!
