Description

Because the ride was meant to be enjoyed.

Cycling isn't about being faster than the rider next to you, it's about enjoying the ride at your own maximum potential. So whether that enjoyment is through a fun ride with ladies from your shop, a challenging gran fondo with your significant other, or a century for a good cause, the Giro Women's Sante Shoes will get you there in simplicity, style, and comfort.

  • Lightweight, synthetic upper is highly breathable, but still durable enough for a lifetime of use
  • An injected nylon sole remains stiff, transferring your power efficiently to the pedals
  • Supportive, molded EVA foam footbed doesn't sacrifice walkability when it comes time to stop for coffee along the way

I just purchased these shoes and want to use them for indoor spinning, what kind of SPD cleat do you reccommend for these shoes?

Thanks,

They can be if you get an SPD cleat for them. You need to purchase cleat separately. The install rather easily with an allen wrench.

VERY COMFORTABLE

I did a lot of research before buying bicycling shoes because I found out the sizing chart for these shoes is a little bit odd. I followed the reviews on Giro Factress shoes and Giro Solara before buying the Giro Sante shoes. I usually wear 8.5 in US size for all kinds of shoes and the size chart said that I should order 40.5 in Giro shoes. Having in mind that I tend to have wide feet (only a little) I ordered one size up for these shoes (41.5 ) and they fit perfectly like a glove. I tried them with my thin socks that I also ordered and they are very comfortable. Of course you cannot walk a lot around with these shoes because they are designed to use while you are in your bicycle but overall I could say they are comfortable and breathable. Keep in mind order one size up.

Go for it.

I bought them for my wife and I'll say .... Go for it.

These shoes are great, they are really easy to fit in, you feel really comfortable with them because they adjust pretty good to the shape of your feet. They are well vented and allow your feet to breath and stay fresh. Finally the size chart is very accurate, they run according to the claimed size.
