If you want a comfy google that looks amazing i would definitely spend the extra 20 bucks and get oakley crowbars. they have a better field of vision then these do and are most definitely a better goggle all around. I agree with the above poster. stick to helmets giro...

First the good: these goggles look great, the construction is decent, and fit a medium face nicely (rather small for large faces, and blocks some peripheral vision).

And now for the suck: the gold boost lens has a major issue with reflections inside the goggle. Can you guess why? It's because the flash tinting was applied to both sides of the lens. Regardless of whether this is by design, or if it's a defect, it is a poor showing for Giro. This issue, in combo with their hype about how their goggles fit their helmets perfectly (they don't fit any better or worse than most other goggles with a relatively flat top), and their near-premium prices, are insulting to the consumer's intelligence.

Seriously Giro, stick to helmets. And maybe think about not overcharging for everything you make.

I bought the Root goggle last year and love it. It works prefect with my G10 helmet. I just saw the Giro Manifest (Interchangable) and want to get that next, you must already be sold out!?

I've got a slightly bigger face (medium-large). I tried them on, and the peripheral seemed pretty good to me. I like the outriggers as well. More when I ski in em!

These Goggles are SICK. You need a medium or small face to enjoy them fully(quite narrow opening). Almost no tunnel vision effect can be seen with theses. The frame is quite rigid so feels the foam on the contour. The 50/50 sun and cloud conditions is where they perform best. The Gold Boost lens is a bit of get used to since it has major problem with reflection of the face and glares. Once you focus on the track, these are SICK. The bring up details like no other! Serious competitor to Oakley Crowbar. 8/10
