Save my Life!

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times

Nothing more to say. This Helmet Save my face, save my life doing freeriding between trees. I was coming down ver fast, and after loosing a ski (air bubble under snow), I hit a tree with my face. After the hit, i was so scared, that I didnt want to touch my face. Finally I did, and I was the happiest man in the world as I realized that the Helmet was there, with a cuple of scratches, but full, and also my face (that was only bleeding cause I bite myself on the hit). Thanks GIRO! :)

Full Face Saver!

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

Initially picked up this helmet for those gnarly days on the hill then started using it for DH days on the bike. Love the fit but wish there was a 'tune-up' option. Just because we added a full-face doesn't mean music should be eliminated. I haven't taken a serious hit that would compromise the lid (fingers crossed just a few scratches so far here and there) but seems to have great composition and protection. For skiers/boarders, it will fill up with pow if you take a digger (but thats any full-facer), just a warning.

Great helmet for snowboarding

  • Familiarity:I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Husband broke his nose snowboarding and after having it set the Vulcan snowstorm was due in VT so he wanted to snowboard again. Dr said bad things could happen if he broke his nose again so he decided to get a full face helmet. Gray color resembled a ski helmet and he didn't fall or break his nose again and we had great snow!
